What are the dates of Nike Basketball 3ON3 Tournament?

Packet pick up will be on August 5th. Team play will be August 6th and 7th.

How much is the team entry fee?

All teams are $160, except for Special Olympic and Wheelchair teams which are free

When is the team entry deadline?

In order to guarantee your desired division, Nike 3ON3 must receive your completed registration form (either from online or mailed in on or before Friday, July 15, 2011. We will welcome your completed registration on a space available basis until Friday, July 15, 2011.

When will schedules be released?

Schedules will be available On Thursday August 4, 2011 by 8pm. To check your schedule after this time, click here

I completed the payment process but I have not received email communication that my team is registered. When will I receive communication?

An email will be sent out to all registered teams on or before Thursday August 4, 2011 by 5pm. If you do not receive an email by then, click here

I went through the online registration process, but was not able to complete the payment step at the end. Is my team registered?

No. In order for the online registration to be submitted and processed, the payment step must be completed successfully. Upon successful completion of the payment step, a receipt will be sent to the email address entered during the payment process. Once the team registration has been fully processed, the team captain will receive an entry confirmation email containing the team number as well as other vital tournament information. This could take up to several weeks to receive.

Do all team members have to be the same grade/age?

No. You can build your team, however you like. Keep in mind however, that it may not be possible to bracket teams with very diverse player characteristics against other teams of similar makeup.

Can I play on more than one team?

While we do allow individuals to play on more than one team (teams must be in dissimilar brackets), we cannot control game schedules to guard against scheduling conflicts. Individuals playing on multiple teams could have multiple games scheduled at the same time.

Can we enter a co-ed team with only one member of the opposite sex?

Yes. Keep in mind, however, that co-ed teams must have members of the opposite sex on the court at all times. Therefore, on a team with three males and one female, the female would have to play the entire time at each game with no rest. If this female would become injured or otherwise unable to play, then the entire team would be disqualified. Elite teams cannot be co-ed.

Our youth team consists of both 4th and 5th graders. Will we still play on an 8' hoop?

No. Mixed-age youth teams will play at the level of the oldest team members. We will make every attempt to bracket teams such as this against other teams of similar makeup.

Can we get a sponsor for our team?

While some teams elect to recruit team sponsors to help cover the cost of registration, this is solely the responsibility of the team, as Nike 3ON3 does not recruit or provide individual team sponsors. You or your business can receive a complimentary team entry by becoming a festival sponsor.
